Classic 100 Eco - Guest - 28-11-2004

Dear Mirko

I'm interesting in this new film if as promised it is a simple and realiable old emulsion.

Is it available here in EU?

4x5 inches only or also 8x10 and 13x18 cm??

Could be really interesting for all the alternatives process.

Thanks

Daniele,

we currently have a few test rolls here.

The first shippment is on its way.

If the customers accept the film we can gradually increase it to 35mm and other sheetfilm formats.

I have shot only 120 rolls yet and the film was OK in most developers.

Not as sharp, fast and expanding as efke/ADOX but usable and without the problems some other "cheerfully"- low priced films have <img src='http://forum.fotoimpex.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':(' /> .

Some US customers have tried Classic 100 with Pyro and the first results were good enough to get them hooked onto a second test round.

Thank Mirko for your reply.

I will place an order of film in the next month and I will be pleased if it will be possible to have some Classic Eco 100 rolls or sheets to try.

I want make some tests with sheets 100 iso films developed in pyrocatechin developers for pinhole camera and this could be a good candidate.

I will keep you informed about this test.

Daniele

PS ClassicPan 200 iso is good/excellent for high contrast scene, not so good with low contrast. <img src='http://forum.fotoimpex.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
